Pennsylvania Courts Launch Docket “App”

Filed under: News by Contributor @ May 26, 2015

Need to access a client’s file on the fly?  There is an app for that, says Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice J. Michael Eakin.    Compatible with IPhones and IPads, the Administrative Office of the Pennsylvania Courts has launched a free mobile application that will provide useful information including results, charges, status changes, and important dates for a given case.

With PAeDocket, a user can search by case number, party name, offense tracking number, police incident report number, or the state ID number.  Pennsylvania Courts had previously offered a mobile version of its website, compatible with other platforms.  A version of PAeDocket for Android phones should be available later this year.

According to the Court’s press release, it is the first state-level judiciary to provide an app to search case information from multiple levels of the court.

To download the new app, visit the ITunes store and search for “PAeDocket.”
