Man Sent to Jail for Winning at Blackjack

In a case that no one could make up, a man gambling at Philadelphia Park Casino & Racetrack in Bucks County, Pennsylvania won $2500 at blackjack.  He produced his ID to cash out but casino officials learned he was wanted for drug offenses in Altoona, Pennsylvania and alerted the appropriate authorities.  Instead of celebrating with his earnings, the man was whisked away to the Blair County Prison where he is awaiting trial, apparently without sufficient funds to make bail or hire an attorney.   The punch line?  Upon his arrest the man told police that he expected to be arrested and was gambling in hopes of winning enough money to make bail…
