Shootings in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania left six people dead this morning. The same suspect, Bradley Stone, a military veteran from Pennsburg, has been linked to the shootings which took place in Lansdale, Lower Salford, and Souderton. It was believed that the police had the suspect surrounded in a home in Souderton earlier this morning, but now it is being reported that the suspect was not in the home and is not in custody. Souderton schools are safe and were locked down earlier this morning. North Penn School District Schools are not affected. A much later report suggests that a fourth crime scene has been discovered in Pennsburg although there is no word yet about whether anyone was shot at that location. The Montgomeryville Patch is reporting that the first shooting took place at approximately 4:00 a.m. in Lower Salford and that one person was shot there. Children were heard screaming for someone to leave them alone and that they wanted to see their mommy. Speculation is that the shooter killed his ex-wife at this location and then progressed from there. Most recently, this evening, there are unconfirmed reports that Stone attempted to steal a car by attacking a man on foot in Doylestown near Shady Grove Road. The victim, who happened to be armed, fired shots at the camo-clad attacker who ran off. Doylestown residents have been warned to stay indoors until the suspect is apprehended.
