PA Turnpike Speed Limit Being Increased

Filed under: News by Contributor @ August 1, 2014

Good news for motorists who frequently drive the Pennsylvania Turnpike: The speed limit is being raised from 65 MPH to 70 MPH for a stretch of almost 100 miles. The increased speed limit will extend from Exit 298, the exit for Interstate 176 near Morgantown, PA, to Exit 201, the exit for Route 998 near Kenmar, PA. The change was scheduled to commence starting July 23rd, though motorists should know that the previous speed limit remains in effect until the signs are actually changed.
