Elizabeth Lippy just won another Not Guilty verdict in the matter of Commonwealth v. B.K. The client was charged with multiple counts of serious felonies including Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Aggravated Indecent Assault, Indecent Assault, Corruption of Minors, and many more. The case stemmed from accusations made by a 16 year old child that the client had sexually assaulted her more than 8 years earlier. The jury returned a unanimous Not Guilty verdict on all charges within one hour of commencing deliberations. Obviously the client was thrilled! Ms. Lippy made sure that his nightmare of false allegations ended at trial. She said it was worth the endless hours of preparation that she put into the case. “To be able to see the relief on his face and be able to watch him hug his family members and supporters that were present in the courtroom at the time the verdict was read reminded me why I do what I do. He was in a fight for his life in that courtroom and I’m glad he chose me to enter the ring with him, so to speak.”
